Goods transport in Europe and abroad: Forecasts up to 2030:  The new ProgTrans World Transport Reports provide forecasts of European and overseas socio-economic and transport developments up to 2030, covering all 27 EU Member States and 13 additional countries worldwide

For the sixth time ProgTrans AG issues long-term forecasts, again for 40 countries all over the world. The new ProgTrans World Transport Reports include the 27 EU Member States as well as 13 additional countries worldwide. For the first time the Reports contain Serbia (as EU Candidate Country) and South Africa, thus completing the BRICS countries. The forecast horizon is now the year 2030.

The ProgTrans World Transport Reports provide compre-hensive data analyses and forecasts of the most important indicators of goods transport, as well as their socio-economic determinants. In a short-term (2013 and 2014) and long-term forecast (2020, 2025 and 2030) the Report  focuses on transport demand in terms of tonne-kilometres for all land transport modes and types of transport. The development of modal split is also analysed. In addition the mileage of road and rail transport is shown as well as the road vehicle stock.
