World Transport Reports Edition 2010 / 2011
 

The new ProgTrans World Transport Reports provide forecasts of European and overseas socio-economic and transport developments up to 2025, covering all EU Member States and 13 additional countries world-wide.
 

For the fifth time ProgTrans AG will issue long-term forecasts now for 40 countries all over the world. The new ProgTrans World Transport Reports will be published in the second quarter of 2010 in two volumes: Volume I includes the 27 EU Member States + Switzerland, Volume II contains 13 additional countries (incl. Switzerland) worldwide, thus also covering the BRIC countries. The forecast horizon is now the year 2025.

The ProgTrans World Transport Reports provide comprehensive data analyses and forecasts of the most important indicators of passenger and goods transport, as well as their socio-economic determinants. It focuses on transport demand in terms of passenger- and tonne-
kilometres between 2000 and 2025, for land transport modes and types of transport. The development of modal split is also analysed. In addition the mileage of road and rail transport is shown as well as the road vehicle stock. Air transport covers loaded and unloaded freight and departed passengers.

The World Transport Reports present sound forecasts of future developments for several indicators of passenger and goods transport in European and Overseas. For many years, our various Transport Reports have served decision makers in businesses and governments as reliable bases for shaping the future.
